I know! I was amazed as well. Unfortunately, it wasn't as strong as I thought and when I investigated further they're actually closer to leeks than garlic. Still amazing though!

I love elephant garlic. Especially roasted in whole cloves next to my potatoes when I'm doing a roast dinner!
True it isn't as strong as normal garlic but it has plenty of its own uses.
